The Proper Tea Co is an independent tea merchant and blender established in 2013 and based in the East Sussex village of Pett near Hastings.

As well as trading online you will find us at a number of regular markets and events in East Sussex and Kent. Check our diary to see where we will be. Do come and say hello and let us know which teas you enjoy the most... and any you think we should be stocking!

Our teas come from reputable sources all over the world and we also create a number of blends in house in East Sussex. Quality, taste and value for money are the key criteria for us when it comes to selecting or creating our teas.

We also stock a range of innovative and design led teaware to enhance your brewing experience and help make loose leaf tea drinking an easy and fun part of your every day.
